CLITHEROE  FINE   FOOD  & CRAFT  STREET   MARKET

Clitheroe Chamber of Trade and Commerce will be celebrating Clitheroe town’s new status as official food capital of Lancashire on Saturday August 14 with a Fine Foods and Craft Street Market.

Clitheroe Fine Food & Craft Street Market will be filled with an eclectic mix of the very best of Clitheroe & the Ribble Valley’s local producers providing fresh locally grown & produced artisan food & drink treats.

The theme of the street market will be essentially local  artisan fine food and crafts,  unique bespoke arts & crafts and gifts and a superb choice of fresh foods and home baking, hot hog roasts, sizzling sausages,cute cupcakes, artisan breads,  delicious cheeses, jams and preserves, meats, organic fruit and vegetables, home grown honey and a wonderful array of tempting treats for all the family to indulge and enjoy!

LIVE MUSIC & FACE PAINTING and food related fun – look out for Little Jimmy Clitheroe Jr who will be making surprise appearances throughout the day at Jimmy Clitheroes Cafe!

There will  be a fantastic PRIZE Winning Mad Hatter Tea Party Fancy Dress Competition at The Rose & Crown Beer Garden from 2pm onwards

Castle Street will be closed to all traffic on Saturday 14th August from 6am to 6 pm to accommodate the street market

From the M6 junction 31, follow signs for the A59 Clitheroe. Enter from the A671 and follow the signs and diversions for Town Centre Parking. Please note Castle Street will be closed off to vehicles and therefore diversion signs will be in place all day on 14 August.
