Clitheroe Chamber of Trade was formed in 1923 and has constantly moved with the times and helped develop and protect the companies trading in the town. The 21st  Century brought new challenges and the addition of commerce to the title to allow for the changing mix of businesses operating in the town.

Today’s Chamber of Trade and Commerce is about Community, Collaboration and Communication.  Our inclusive approach aims to make the most of Clitheroe’s considerable assets by working together to make it an even better place to live, work and shop.

Our commitment is to strive for excellence in local services and infrastructure; encourage commercial diversity to secure our economic future; promote community and commercial honesty, integrity and openness;  improve the lives and environment of everyone through commercial innovation, creativity and development.
