I just wanted to say and I hope that lots of other people have said it to you too! That Saturday was absolutely fantastic and so so well organised …I know there were a few minor hitches and near heart attacks early on! But it really was fab and its all down to you two.
I hope that this provides a big boost for your chamber of trade and for Clitheroe as a whole.

Our staff wanted to man the stall but we think they were underestimating how busy the Inn would be – and boy were we busy!
We would appreciate if you could pass on our thanks to all your team and certainly to yourself for the incredible effort in organising such an event.
You have certainly raised the profile of Clitheroe and the traders should be incredibly proud of your achievments – we certainly are!

Thank-you for such a great event on last Saturday at the Clitheroe Street Market. It was a brilliant event from a local makers perspective and the people I talked to who were visiting raved about it.
Thank-you once again

I just wanted to say big thank you for allowing my colleague Lisa and I to take part in the Clitheroe Fine food festival. Throughout the planning of the event and the execution on the day I thought it was extremely well planned and executed. I have quite a bit of experience organising large events and would have been very proud had this been one of mine.
As a novice in this arena the help you and your team gave was great, we benefitted in a big way and certainly now don’t lack in confidence to have a stand a future events of this nature.
I must make mention that whilst I was booking in to drop off my goods a male and female member of staff had to deal with a very disgruntled man, he was really very aggressive to the staff, shouting and generally showing not a pleasant side to his character, I was going to intervene to offer support to the staff however upon watching them I felt they handled the situation admirably without so much as a raised word to him, there are very few people who would have stood there and listened to this gentleman – again I felt this was a credit to the people involved.
I felt very proud today to be a part of such a great event and feel that it showed Clitheroe in all its glory, there was such an air of happiness around the town it’s hard to describe. I certainly hope that the committee seriously give consideration for events of this nature in the future as I can only see the huge long term positve affect it could have on this gorgeous town.
Congratulations, I really hope everyone else had the same experience I had.

I had a lovely wander around the whole of Clitheroe town centre yesterday distributing Clitheroe Fine Food & Craft Street Market posters & postcards. Wish I’d had more time to look at the superb sale bargains!
Thanks members for being so supportive and coming up with great promotions and events to compliment the Street Market on Saturday 14th August – it’s going to be a day out not be missed!
